Sanatkumara (teaching Narada in the dialogue on dharma and devotion)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches that genuine Viṣṇu-worship is rooted in inner devotion (bhakti-bhāva) and disciplined conduct—especially restraint of speech—so that worship becomes concentrated, reverent, and sattvic.
Bhakti here is expressed as both feeling and practice: approach Hari with a devoted heart, and vocalize devotion through a direct salutation—“Keśavāya namaḥ”—as a simple, effective form of worship.
The verse highlights mantra-prayoga (practical use of a devotional utterance) and the discipline of vāk-niyama (regulated speech), supporting correct ritual performance and focused recitation.
