Narada (as narrator within the Narada Purana dialogue tradition)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: vira
It teaches that transmitting sacred Purana-katha is itself a liberating act: sharing a holy narrative in a dharmic setting earns divine grace and culminates in reaching Vishnu’s abode, beyond rebirth.
Bhakti here is expressed as kirtana/pravachana—devotional narration of Vishnu-centered sacred history—performed with reverence before worthy listeners, which becomes a direct means to Vishnu-loka.
The verse emphasizes dharmic procedure and context (sad-ācāra): recitation in a proper assembly (before Brahmins) aligns with ritual propriety and correct transmission of sacred texts, rather than a specific Vedanga like Jyotisha or Vyakarana.
