इतिहासं प्रवक्ष्यामि तवात्र नृपसत्तम । यं श्रृत्वा सर्वपापेभ्यो मुच्यते नात्र संशयः ॥ ६० ॥

itihāsaṃ pravakṣyāmi tavātra nṛpasattama | yaṃ śrṛtvā sarvapāpebhyo mucyate nātra saṃśayaḥ || 60 ||

హే నృపశ్రేష్ఠా! నేను నీకు ఇక్కడ ఒక పవిత్ర ఇతిహాసాన్ని చెప్పుదును. దానిని వినినవాడు సమస్త పాపాల నుండి విముక్తుడగును—ఇందులో సందేహము లేదు.
