Sanatkumara (teaching Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhayanaka
It frames time (māsa/season) and planetary influence (especially the Moon) as dharmic indicators—warning of harmful periods while highlighting that a favorable lunar rise is considered purifying and auspicious.
Indirectly: by advising awareness of auspicious and inauspicious times, it supports disciplined devotional life—choosing supportive periods for worship, vows, and steadiness in sādhana despite external fears.
Vedāṅga Jyotiṣa (Vedic astrology): it links specific months (Iṣa/Ūrja) and the Moon’s rising/ascendancy to predicted outcomes, serving as a practical timing and omen framework.
