మాఘ మాస కృష్ణ పక్ష పంచదశి (అమావాస్య) ద్వాపర యుగారంభమని బోధించబడింది. అలాగే నభస్య (భాద్రపద) మాస కృష్ణ పక్ష త్రయోదశి కల్పారంభమని చెప్పబడింది.
