Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It functions as a phala-śruti: it affirms that correct vrata-observance produces auspicious karmic outcomes—noble birth, health, prosperity, and strong faculties—thereby encouraging disciplined dharma.
While it speaks in the language of vrata-results, it supports bhakti indirectly by praising steadfast observance (vrata-niyama), a common devotional discipline that stabilizes the mind and strengthens commitment to worship and dharma.
Ritual discipline (kalpa-oriented vrata practice) is implied: the verse stresses doing the vow “in this manner” (evam), indicating the importance of correct procedure and observance for obtaining stated results.
