It teaches that charity (dāna) performed on the specified sacred tithi in Ūrja (Kārttika) carries inexhaustible merit (ananta-phala), emphasizing time-sanctified giving as a dharmic practice.
While not naming a deity here, it supports bhakti-oriented living by prescribing sacred-time discipline and selfless giving—practices that purify intention and strengthen devotional conduct within vrata culture.
It highlights calendrical/ritual timing based on tithi (śukla-dvitīyā) in the month Ūrja—practical jyotiṣa-style observance used for determining when acts like dāna are especially efficacious.
