dānaṃ pradattametasyāmanaṃtaphalamucyate | ūrjjaśukladvitīyāyāṃ yamo yamunayā purā || 18 ||

Translation

ఈ రోజున ఇచ్చిన దానం అనంత ఫలాన్ని ఇస్తుందని చెప్పబడింది. ఊర్జ (కార్తిక) శుక్ల ద్వితీయనాడు పూర్వం యముడు యమునాతో సంబంధించాడని ప్రసిద్ధం।
