*śaunaka uvāca śrutvā tasyāstato vākyaṃ devayānyabravīd idam rājannādyeha vatsyāmi vipriyaṃ me tvayā kṛtam //

Translation

శౌనకుడు అన్నాడు—ఆమె మాటలు విని దేవయానీ రాజుతో ఇలా చెప్పింది: ‘ఓ రాజా, ఈ రోజు నుండి నేను ఇక్కడే ఉంటాను; నీవు నాకు అప్రీతికరమైన పని చేశావు.’
