Adhyaya 61 — The Second Manvantara Begins: The Brahmin’s Swift Journey and Varuthini’s Temptation on Himavat

Sanskrit

यद्येष मयि सुस्निग्धां दृष्टिमद्य निपातयेत् । कृतपुण्या न मत्तोऽन्या त्रैलोक्ये वनिता ततः ॥

Transliteration

yadyeṣa mayi susnigdhāṃ dṛṣṭim adya nipātayet / kṛtapuṇyā na matto 'nyā trailokye vanitā tataḥ

Translation

ఈ రోజు అతడు నాపై అత్యంత స్నేహభరితమైన చూపు వేస్తే, మూడు లోకాలలో నాకన్నా ఎక్కువ పుణ్యవతి మరెవ్వరు స్త్రీ ఉండరు.
