एवमुक्तौ ततस्तेन पित्रा स्नेहवता तु तौ ॥

Transliteration

kasmān nānīyate vatsāv upakārāya mānadaḥ |

evam uktau tatas tena pitrā snehavatā tu tau ||

Translation

‘నా ప్రియ కుమారులారా, అతని ఉపకారానికి ప్రతిదానం చేయుటకై, హే మానదా, అతనిని ఎందుకు తీసుకురావడం లేదు?’ అని పలికినపుడు స్నేహమయుడైన తండ్రి ఆ ఇద్దరితో ప్రేమగా మాట్లాడెను।
