FAQs

Restraint in speech and respect for sacred confidentiality (guhya) are treated as virtues that attract grace; not all sacred knowledge is meant for display or social currency.

Carita: a narrative hinge where the divine grants the hero agency to define his destiny through requested boons.

‘Secret names’ imply mantra-logic: power is preserved by discipline (saṃyama). The verse encodes the idea that the sacred is potent when guarded, not dissipated through careless proclamation.
