त्रिगर्त-मात्स्य-संग्रामः

तान् परीप्सस्व राजेन्द्र मा नेशु: पशवस्तव । आओ तच्छृत्वा नृपति: सेनां मत्स्यानां समयोजयत्,जज ! उन्हें वापस लेने--छुड़ानेकी चेष्टा कीजिये; जिससे आपके वे पशु नष्ट न हो जायँ--आपके हाथोंसे दूर न निकल जायँ।” यह सुनकर राजाने मत्स्यदेशकी सेना एकत्र की
vaiśampāyana uvāca | tān parīpsasva rājendra mā neśuḥ paśavas tava | atha tac chrutvā nṛpatiḥ senāṃ matsyānāṃ samayojayat ||
“రాజేంద్రా! వారిని తిరిగి పొందేందుకు—విడిపించేందుకు ప్రయత్నించండి; మీ పశువులు నశించకూడదు, మీ చేతుల నుంచి జారిపోకూడదు.” ఇది విని నృపతి వెంటనే మత్స్యదేశ సేనను సమీకరించాడు.
