మార్కండేయుడు పలికెను—అతడు మళ్లీ వందలకొద్దీ, ఆపై వేలకొద్దీ బాణములను విడిచెను. మనుష్యులలో సింహసమాన పరాక్రముడైన ఆ ఇంద్రజితుడు కోపావేశముతో ఆ ఇద్దరు భ్రాతల సర్వాంగములపై పునఃపునః శతసహస్ర బాణవృష్టిని కురిపించెను.
