हरयो विविशुर्व्योम प्रगृह्ा महती: शिला: । वानरोंने देखा कि वह राक्षस छिपकर निरन्तर बाणोंकी झड़ी लगा रहा है, तब वे हाथोंमें बड़ी-बड़ी शिलाएँ लिये आकाशमें उड़ गये और उसकी खोज करने लगे
harayo viviśur vyoma pragṛhya mahatīḥ śilāḥ |
మార్కండేయుడు పలికెను—వానరులు చేతులలో మహత్తర శిలలను పట్టుకొని ఆకాశములోకి ఎగిరిరి. ఆ రాక్షసుడు దాగి నిరంతరం బాణవర్షము కురిపించుచున్నాడని చూచి, అతనిని వెదకుటకు వారు గగనములోకి దూకిరి.
