आरण्यकपर्वणि अध्यायः २१६ — इन्द्र-स्कन्द-संमुखता वज्रप्रहारश्च
Indra approaches Skanda; vajra strike and the arising of Viśākha
पतमानोउद्य नरके भवतास्मि समुद्धृतः । भवितव्यमथैवं च यद् दृष्टोईसि मयानघ,अनघ! मैं नरकमें गिर रहा था। आज आपने मेरा उद्धार कर दिया। इस प्रकार जब मुझे आपका दर्शन मिल गया, तब निश्चय ही आपके उपदेशके अनुसार भविष्यमें सब कुछ होगा
patamāno ’dya narake bhavatāsmī samuddhṛtaḥ | bhavitavyam athaivaṁ ca yad dṛṣṭo ’si mayānagha ||
అనఘా! నేను నేడు నరకంలో పడిపోతుండగా, మీరు నన్ను పైకి లేపి రక్షించారు. ఇప్పుడు మీ దర్శనం పొందిన తరువాత, ఇకపై అన్నీ మీ ఉపదేశానుసారమే జరుగుతాయని నిశ్చయం.
