Udyoga Parva Adhyaya 133 — A Mother’s Counsel to Saṃjaya
महाहमाल्याभरणां सुमृष्टाम्बरवाससम् | पुरा हृष्ट: सुहृद्र्गो मामपश्यत् सुहृदूगताम्,पूर्वकालमें मेरे सुह्दोंने जब मुझे सगे सम्बन्धियोंके बीच बहुमूल्य हार एवं आभूषणोंसे विभूषित तथा परम सुन्दर स्वच्छ वस्त्रोंस आच्छादित देखा, तब उन्हें बड़ा हर्ष हुआ
mahāhārābharaṇāṃ sumṛṣṭāmbaravāsasam | purā hṛṣṭaḥ suhṛdṛggo mām apaśyat suhṛdāgatām ||
పూర్వకాలంలో నా హితైషి సుహృదులు, నన్ను స్వజనుల మధ్య విలువైన మాలలు, హారాలు, ఆభరణాలతో అలంకరించబడి, అత్యంత సుందరమైన నిర్మల వస్త్రాలు ధరించి వచ్చినదిగా చూచినప్పుడు, వారు మహా హర్షంతో పరవశించారు।
