आकर्णयय भक््त्या सततं जयाख्यं भारतं महत् । श्रीक्ष कीर्तिस्तथा विद्या भवन्ति सहिता: सदा
ākarṇayati bhaktyā satataṃ jayākhyaṃ bhārataṃ mahat | śrīḥ kīrtis tathā vidyā bhavanti sahitāḥ sadā ||
వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను—‘జయ’ అని ప్రసిద్ధమైన ఈ మహద్భారతాన్ని ఎవడు భక్తితో నిరంతరం శ్రవణం చేస్తాడో, అతని వద్ద శ్రీ, కీర్తి, విద్య—ఈ మూడూ సదా కలిసి నిలిచియుంటాయి.
