यद्‌ रात्रौ कुरुते पापं ब्राह्मण: स्त्रीगणैर्व॒त: । महाभारतमाख्याय पूर्वा संध्यां प्रमुच्यते

yad rātrau kurute pāpaṃ brāhmaṇaḥ strīgaṇair vṛtaḥ | mahābhāratam ākhyāya pūrvāṃ sandhyāṃ pramucyate ||

బ్రాహ్మణుడు రాత్రివేళ స్త్రీల సమూహముచే చుట్టుముట్టబడి చేసిన పాపమేదైనా, ప్రాతఃకాలపు పూర్వసంధ్యాసమయంలో మహాభారతాన్ని పఠిస్తే దానినుండి విముక్తుడగును।
