अद्यैक॑ दिवसं विप्रा न वो5स्तीह भयं क्वचित् | राक्षसे भ्य: प्रमोदध्वमिष्टतो यात माचिरम्
adyaikaṁ divasaṁ viprā na vo ’stīha bhayaṁ kvacit | rākṣasebhyaḥ pramodadhvam iṣṭato yāta mā ciram, rājan |
భీష్ముడు అన్నాడు— “ఓ బ్రాహ్మణులారా! ఈ రోజు—ఈ ఒక్క దినమంతట—ఇక్కడ రాక్షసులవల్ల మీకు ఎక్కడా భయం లేదు. కాబట్టి ఆనందించండి; మీకు ఇష్టమైన గమ్యస్థానానికి త్వరగా వెళ్లండి; ఆలస్యం చేయకండి, రాజా।”
