Transliteration

vaiśampāyana uvāca | tato 'bhiṣeka-sambhārān sarvān sambhṛtya śāstrataḥ | bṛhaspatiḥ samiddhe 'gnau juhāvāgnim yathā-vidhi ||

Translation

వైశంపాయనుడు చెప్పెను—అనంతరం శాస్త్రవిధి ప్రకారం అభిషేకానికి కావలసిన సమస్త సామగ్రిని సమకూర్చి, బృహస్పతి బాగా ప్రజ్వలించిన పవిత్ర అగ్నిలో నియమానుసారం హవిస్సులతో ఆహుతులు సమర్పించెను. దీని ద్వారా శక్తి గాని మహిమ గాని ధర్మబద్ధమైన విధిక్రమం ద్వారానే స్థిరపడుతుందని, కేవలం ఆవేశంతో కాదని తెలియుచున్నది.
