గంధర్వతీర్థం నుండి ముందుకు సాగి, ఒక చెవిలో కుండలం ధరించిన శత్రుదమన మహాబాహు బలరాముడు గర్గస్రోత అనే మహాతీర్థానికి వచ్చాడు।
