ततस्ते पापकर्माणो लोभोपहतचेतस: । आभीरा मन्त्रयामासु: समेत्याशुभदर्शना:,लोभसे उनके चित्तकी विवेकशक्ति नष्ट हो गयी। उन अशुभदर्शी पापाचारी आभीरोंने परस्पर मिलकर सलाह की

tatas te pāpakarmāṇo lobhopahatacetasaḥ | ābhīrā mantrayāmāsuḥ sametyāśubhadarśanāḥ ||

అప్పుడు పాపకర్ములు, లోభంతో మూర్ఛితచిత్తులు, వివేకం నశించిన ఆభీరులు—అశుభదృష్టులు—కలసి పరస్పరం మంత్రణ చేయసాగారు।
