दर्शयन् व्यचरद् युद्धे द्रोणस्यान्तचिकीर्षया । चरतस्तस्य तान् मार्गान् विचित्रान् खड़्गचर्मिण:
darśayan vyacarad yuddhe droṇasyāntacikīrṣayā | caratas tasya tān mārgān vicitrān khaḍgacarmiṇaḥ ||
తన పరాక్రమాన్ని ప్రదర్శిస్తూ, ద్రోణుని అంతం చేయాలనే సంకల్పంతో అతడు యుద్ధభూమిలో సంచరించాడు. ఢాలు-ఖడ్గధారి ఆ వీరుడు సంచరిస్తూ అనేక విచిత్ర దాడి మార్గాలను ఆవిష్కరించాడు।
