अकम्पत महाराज भयत्रस्तेव चाड़ना | महाराज! दौड़ते हुए पैदल सैनिकोंके पैरोंकी धमकसे यह पृथ्वी भयभीत अबलाके समान काँपने लगी
sañjaya uvāca | akampata mahārāja bhayatrastā iva cāṇḍanā | mahārāja! dhāvataḥ padātisainikānāṃ pādānāṃ dhamakena iyaṃ pṛthivī bhayabhītā abalā iva kampitum ārabdhā |
సంజయుడు పలికెను—మహారాజా, పరుగెత్తుతున్న పాదాతి సైనికుల పాదధ్వనుల గర్జనతో భూమి భయపడిన అశక్త స్త్రీలాగా కంపించింది. వారి పాదాఘాతాల మ్రోగుడికి నలిగిన నేల వణికిపోయింది, భయం దానిని పట్టుకున్నట్లుగా.
