स कर्ण शरजालेन च्छादयामास पाण्डव:
sa karṇa-śarajālena cchādayāmāsa pāṇḍavaḥ
సంజయుడు పలికెను—అప్పుడు పాండవుడు కర్ణుని చుట్టుముట్టి వలలాగా బాణవర్షంతో కప్పివేశెను; రణసంక్షోభంలో అతనిని ముంచెత్తెను. ఇది ధర్మయుద్ధపు తీవ్రతను చూపుతుంది—ధైర్యం, నైపుణ్యంతో పాటు సంయమనం, ప్రయోజనబద్ధత కూడా కావలసినది.
