द्योतयन्ती दिशो राजन् महोल्केव नभश्च्युता । राजन! सम्पूर्ण दिशाओंको प्रकाशित करती हुई वह सुवर्णभूषित शक्ति कटकर आकाशशसे गिरी हुई बड़ी भारी उल्काके समान पृथ्वीपर गिर पड़ी
dyotayantī diśo rājan maholkeva nabhaścyutā |
సంజయుడు పలికెను—రాజా! సమస్త దిక్కులను ప్రకాశింపజేస్తూ, స్వర్ణాభరణాలతో అలంకృతమైన ఆ శక్తి తెగిపోయి, ఆకాశం నుండి జారిపడిన మహా ఉల్కవలె భూమిపై పడిపోయెను।
