एवमुक्तस्तु पार्थेन धृष्टद्युम्नो महारथ: । व्यादिदेश महाराज रथिनो रथिनां वर:,महाराज! कुन्तीपुत्र युधिष्ठिरके ऐसा कहनेपर रथियोंमें श्रेष्ठ महारथी धृष्टद्युम्नने अपने समस्त रथियोंको मकरव्यूह बनानेके लिये आज्ञा दे दी
evam uktas tu pārthena dhṛṣṭadyumno mahārathaḥ | vyādideśa mahārāja rathino rathināṁ varaḥ ||
మహారాజా! పార్థుడు ఇలా చెప్పగానే, రథికులలో శ్రేష్ఠుడైన మహారథి ధృష్టద్యుమ్నుడు రథికులకు మకరవ్యూహం ఏర్పరచమని ఆజ్ఞాపించాడు.
