Daiva–Puruṣakāra Discourse and the Elephant-Corps Engagement (भीमगजानीक-सम्भ्रान्ति)

अपरे चैनमालोक्य भयात्‌ पज्चत्वमागता: । एवं सा बहुला सेना कलिज्जानां तरस्विनाम्‌

apare cainam ālokya bhayāt pañcatvam āgatāḥ | evaṃ sā bahulā senā kaliñjānāṃ tarasvinām ||

సంజయుడు పలికెను—మరికొందరు అతనిని చూచిన మాత్రాన భయముతో ప్రాణములు విడిచిరి. ఈ విధముగా పరాక్రమశాలులైన కలింగుల ఆ విస్తార సేన భీతిచేత అట్టి స్థితికి చేరెను.
