Transliteration
tataḥ śikhaṇḍī gāṅgeyaṁ yudhyamānaṁ mahāhave | jaghāna bahubhir bāṇaiḥ saha gāṇḍīvadhanvanā ||
Translation
అప్పుడు మహాసమరంలో యుద్ధం చేస్తూ ఉన్న గాంగేయ భీష్ముని శిఖండీ—గాండీవధారి అర్జునునితో కలిసి—అనేక బాణాలతో ఛేదించాడు.
