पात्रलक्षण-परिक्षा (Pātra-Lakṣaṇa Parīkṣā) — Criteria for a Worthy Recipient
ये चैनमनुवर्तन्ते ते न यान्ति पराभवम् | नते प्रेत्य विनश्यन्ति गच्छन्ति न पराभवम्
ye cainam anuvartante te na yānti parābhavam | na te pretya vinaśyanti gacchanti na parābhavam ||
భీష్ముడు పలికెను—బ్రాహ్మణులను అనుసరించువారు పరాభవాన్ని పొందరు. మరణానంతరం కూడా వారు నశించరు, పతనమును పొందరు; అవమానానికి లోనుకాక, అధోగతి లేక ముందుకు సాగుతారు.
