येषां वृद्धश्न बालश्न सर्व: सम्मानमरहति । तपोविद्याविशेषात्तु मानयन्ति परस्परम्‌

Transliteration

yeṣāṁ vṛddhaśna bālaśna sarvaḥ sammānam arhati | tapovidyāviśeṣāt tu mānayanti parasparam ||

Translation

బ్రాహ్మణులలో వృద్ధుడైనా బాలుడైనా—అందరూ గౌరవానికి అర్హులు; అయితే తపస్సు, విద్యలలో విశేషతను బట్టి వారు పరస్పరం మరింత గౌరవిస్తారు।
