पद्मनाभो5रविन्दाक्ष: पद्मगर्भ: शरीरभृत् । महर्द्धिर््रद्धो वृद्धात्मा महाक्षो गरुडध्वज:
bhīṣma uvāca | padmanābho 'ravindākṣaḥ padmagarbhaḥ śarīrabhṛt | maharddhir ṛddho vṛddhātmā mahākṣo garuḍadhvajaḥ ||
భీష్ముడు పలికెను—ఆయనే పద్మనాభుడు; అరవిందాక్షుడు, కమలనేత్రుడు; పద్మగర్భుడు, హృదయపద్మమున ధ్యేయుడు; శరీరభృత్, దేహధారులను పోషించువాడు. ఆయన మహైశ్వర్యసంపన్నుడు, సర్వోన్నతుడు, పురాతనాత్మ, విశాలనేత్రుడు, గరుడధ్వజధారి—ఈ నామములతో ప్రభువు స్తుతింపబడెను।
