Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ

Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony

बदरीकुन्दपुन्नागैरशोकाम्रातिमुक्तकै: । मधूकै: कोविदारैश्न चम्पकैः पनसैस्तथा,धव, ककुभ (अर्जुन), कदम्ब, नारियल, कुरबक, केतक, जामुन, पाटल, बड़, वरुणक, वत्सनाभ, बिल्व, सरल, कपित्थ, प्रियाल, साल, ताल, बेर, कुन्द, पुत्नाग, अशोक, आम्र, अतिमुक्त, महुआ, कोविदार, चम्पा तथा कटहल आदि बहुत-से फल-फूल देनेवाले विविध वन्य वृक्ष उस आश्रमकी शोभा बढ़ा रहे थे। फूलों, गुल्मों और लताओंसे वह व्याप्त था। केलेके कुंज उसकी शोभाको और भी बढ़ा रहे थे

badarīkunda-punnāgair aśokāmrātimuktakaiḥ | madhūkaiḥ kovidāraiś ca campakaiḥ panasaistathā ||

వాసుదేవుడు పలికెను—బదరి, కుంద, పున్నాగ, అశోక, ఆమ్ర, అతిముక్త లతలు, మధూక, కోవిదార, చంపక, పనస వంటి అనేక వన్యవృక్షాలు ఆ ఆశ్రమాన్ని అలంకరించెను. అది పుష్పాలు, పొదలు, లతలతో నిండియుండెను; కదళీ వనాలు దాని శోభను మరింత పెంచెను.
