आदि पर्व, अध्याय 96 — काश्यकन्याहरणं, शाल्वसमागमः, अम्बावचनं च
Kāśī princesses taken; encounter with Śālva; Ambā’s declaration
तत्रापि जतुगृहे दग्धुं समारब्धा न शकिता विदुरमन्त्रितेनेति,वहाँ भी उन्हें लाक्षागृहमें जला डालनेका प्रयत्न किया गया; किंतु पाण्डवोंके विदुरजीकी सलाहके अनुसार काम करनेके कारण विरोधीलोग उनको दग्ध करनेमें समर्थ न हो सके
tatrāpi jatugṛhe dagdhuṃ samārabdhā na śakitā vidura-mantritena iti
అక్కడ కూడా లాక్షాగృహములో వారిని దహించుటకు యత్నించిరి; కాని పాండవులు విదురుని మంత్రానుసారము జాగ్రత్తగా ప్రవర్తించుటవలన శత్రువులు వారిని అగ్నిలో దహింపజేయలేకపోయిరి.
