स काश्यपतपोगुप्तमाश्रमप्रवरं शुभम्‌ | नातृप्यत्‌ प्रेक्षमाणो वै तपोवनगुणैर्युतम्‌,वह श्रेष्ठ एवं शुभ आश्रम कश्यपनन्दन महर्षि कण्वकी तपस्यासे सुरक्षित तथा तपोवनके उत्तम गुणोंसे संयुक्त था। राजा उसे देखकर तृप्त नहीं होते थे

sa kāśyapatapoguptam āśramapravaraṃ śubham | nātṛpyat prekṣamāṇo vai tapovanaguṇair yutam ||

వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను—ఆ శుభమైన, శ్రేష్ఠమైన ఆశ్రమం కాశ్యప వంశపు తపస్సు చేత రక్షింపబడినది; తపోవన గుణసంపత్తితో సమృద్ధమైనది. దానిని చూస్తూ రాజు తృప్తి పొందలేదు।
