Aṃśāvataraṇa-kathana (Catalog of Divine/Asuric Portions in Human Births) — Chapter 61

नगरं खाण्डवप्रस्थं रत्नान्यादाय सर्वश: । तत्र ते न्‍्यवसन्‌ पार्था: संवत्सरगणान्‌ बहून्‌

nagaraṃ khāṇḍavaprasthaṃ ratnāny ādāya sarvaśaḥ | tatra te nyavasan pārthāḥ saṃvatsaragaṇān bahūn ||

వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను— సమస్త రత్నసంపదను తీసుకొని పార్థులు ఖాండవప్రస్థ నగరమునకు వెళ్లిరి. అక్కడ వారు ఆ దేశమున గృహవ్యవస్థను, రాజ్యపాలనను స్థాపించి అనేక సంవత్సరములు నివసించిరి.
