Vāsuki’s Anxiety and Brahmā’s Confirmation
सौतिर्वाच बहुत्वान्नामधेयानि पन्नगानां तपोधन । न कीर्तयिष्ये सर्वेषां प्राधान्येन तु मे शृूणु,उग्रश्रवाजीने कहा--तपोधन! सर्पोंकी संख्या बहुत है; अतः उन सबके नाम तो नहीं कहूँगा, किंतु उनमें जो मुख्य-मुख्य सर्प हैं, उनके नाम मुझसे सुनिये
sautir uvāca bahutvān nāmadheyāni pannagānāṃ tapodhana | na kīrtayiṣye sarveṣāṃ prādhānyena tu me śṛṇu ||
సౌతి ఉగ్రశ్రవుడు అన్నాడు—ఓ తపోధనుడా! సర్పుల పేర్లు అపారంగా ఉన్నాయి; అందువల్ల నేను అందరి పేర్లు చెప్పను. అయితే వారిలో ప్రధానమైనవారి పేర్లు నన్ను విని తెలుసుకో।
