Vāsuki’s Anxiety and Brahmā’s Confirmation
पन्नगानां तु नामानि न कीर्तयसि सूतज । प्राधान्येनापि नामानि श्रोतुमिच्छामहे वयम्,किंतु सूतपुत्र! आप सर्पोके नाम नहीं बता रहे हैं। यदि सबका नाम बताना सम्भव न हो, तो उनमें जो मुख्य-मुख्य सर्प हैं, उन्हींके नाम हम सुनना चाहते हैं
pannagānāṃ tu nāmāni na kīrtayasi sūtaja | prādhānyenāpi nāmāni śrotum icchāmahe vayam ||
శౌనకుడు అన్నాడు—ఓ సూతపుత్రా! నీవు సర్పుల పేర్లు చెప్పడం లేదు. అందరి పేర్లు చెప్పలేకపోయినా, వారిలో ప్రధానమైన సర్పుల పేర్లైనా మేము వినదలచుకున్నాము।
