Dhaumya-varaṇa (Appointment of Dhaumya as Purohita) | धौम्यवरणम्

यस्तु नोच्छेदनं चक्रे कुशिकानामुदारधी: । विश्वामित्रापराधेन धारयन्‌ मन्युमुत्तमम्‌,विश्वामित्रके अपराधसे मनमें पवित्र क्रोध धारण करते हुए भी उन उदारबुद्धि महर्षिने कुशिकवंशका समूलोच्छेद नहीं किया

yastu nocchedanaṃ cakre kuśikānām udāradhīḥ | viśvāmitrāparādhena dhārayan manyum uttamam ||

ఉదారబుద్ధి మహర్షి, విశ్వామిత్రుని అపరాధం వల్ల మనసులో ధర్మయుక్తమైన ఉత్తమ క్రోధాన్ని ధరించినప్పటికీ, కుశిక వంశాన్ని సమూలంగా నశింపజేయలేదు।
