इति श्रीमहाभारते आदिपर्वणि सम्भवपर्वणि गान्धारीपूत्रोत्पत्तौ चतुर्दशाधिकशततमो<ध्याय:

As a colophon, the verse primarily teaches how the epic frames moral history through lineage: the origins and births of key figures are presented as foundational causes that shape later ethical crises and social conflict.
