oṁ namo bhagavate mukhyatamāya namaḥ sattvāya prāṇāyaujase sahase balāya mahā-matsyāya nama iti.

ఓం—శుద్ధ సత్త్వరూపుడైన పరమ పురుషోత్తమ భగవంతునికి నమస్కారం. ప్రాణము, దేహబలం, తేజస్సు, సాహసం, సామర్థ్యం అన్నిటికీ ఆయనే మూలం. అవతారాలలో మొదటిగా ప్రదర్శితమైన మహామత్స్యునికి నమస్కారం; మళ్లీ మళ్లీ ప్రణామం.
