Sukta 9

अ॒वः परे॑ण पि॒तरं॒ यो अ॑स्य॒ वेदा॒वः परे॑ण प॒र ए॒ना व॑रेण । क॒वी॒यमा॑नः॒ क इ॒ह प्र वो॑चद् दे॒वं मनः॒ कुतो॒ अधि॒ प्रजा॑तम्

aváḥ paréṇa pitáraṃ yó asyá védāváḥ paréṇa pará enā́ varéṇa | kavīyámānaḥ ká ihá prá vocad deváṃ mánaḥ kúto ádhi prájātam ||

Aid from beyond—he who knoweth the Father of this (All); aid from beyond, beyond these, by the excellent boon. In seerly inspiration, who here hath proclaimed the divine Mind—whence, and from what height, it was brought to birth?

ఈ (సర్వం) యొక్క తండ్రిని ఎవడు తెలుసునో—అతనికి పరమపార నుండి సహాయం; పరమపార నుండి సహాయం, వీటన్నిటికీ అతీతంగా, ఉత్తమ వరం (వरेణ) ద్వారా. కవి-ప్రేరణలో ఇక్కడ ఆ దేవ-మనస్సు (దివ్య మనస్) ను ఎవరు ప్రకటించారు? అది ఎక్కడి నుండి, ఏ ఎత్తు నుండి, జన్మగా తీసుకురాబడింది?
