Atharva Veda 9.8.18 — Kanda 9, Anuvaka 1, Sukta 8, Mantra 18

Sukta 8

या म॒ज्ज्ञो नि॒र्धय॑न्ति॒ परूं॑षि विरु॒जन्ति॑ च । अहिं॑सन्तीरनाम॒या निर्द्र॑वन्तु ब॒हिर्बिल॑म्

yā́ majñó nirdháyanti parū́ṃṣi virujánti ca | ahíṃsantīr anāmayā́ nírdravantu bahírbilám ||

She that drains away the marrow and shatters the joints besides—harmless, unailing, let her run forth, away, unto the outer burrow.

మజ్జను క్షీణింపజేసి, సంధులను కూడా విరిచివేసేది—ఆమె హింసలేనిదిగా, వ్యాధిలేనిదిగా మారి, బయటి బిలం/గుహ వైపు పరుగెత్తి బయటికి వెళ్లిపోవుగాక.
