स॒मा॒नलो॑को भवति पुन॒र्भुवाप॑रः॒ पतिः॑ । यो॒३जं पञ्चौ॑दनं॒ दक्षि॑णाज्योतिषं॒ ददा॑ति

IAST Transliteration

samāná-lokó bhavati punár-bhū́ḥ apáraḥ pátiḥ | yó yójáṃ pañcáudanam dakṣiṇā́-jyótiṣaṃ dádāti ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

The later husband, born anew, becometh sharer of the self-same world—whoso bestoweth a yoke-team, the fivefold rice-oblation, a rite whose splendour is the priestly gift.

Translation

పునర్జన్మతో తరువాతి భర్తగా అయ్యేవాడు అదే లోకానికి భాగస్వామి అవుతాడు. యోగ-జంట (నూగులో కట్టిన జత), పంచౌదన (ఐదు విధాల అన్న-ఆహుతి) మరియు దక్షిణా-జ్యోతి గల యజ్ఞకర్మను దానం చేసేవాడు.
