अमावास्या। यत् ते देवा अकृण्वन् भागधेयममावास्ये संवसन्तो महित्वा। तेना नो यज्ञं पिपृहि विश्ववारे रयिं नो धेहि सुभगे सुवीरम्

IAST Transliteration

amāvāsyā́ | yát te devā́ akṛṇvan bhāgadhéyam amāvā́sye saṁvásanto mahitvā́ | ténā no yajñám pipṛhi viśvavāre rayím no dhehi subhage suvī́ram ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

New-moon. What share the Gods established for thee at new-moon, abiding together in thy majesty—therewith make full our sacrifice, O all-boon-giving; set for us wealth, O fortunate one, rich in goodly sons and men.

అమావాస్య. అమావాస్యలో దేవతలు నీకు స్థాపించిన భాగధేయాన్ని, నీ మహిమలో సమవసిస్తూ—దానితో, ఓ విశ్వవరప్రదాయినీ, మా యజ్ఞాన్ని పరిపూర్ణం చేయుము; ఓ సుభగే, మాకు ధనాన్ని స్థాపించుము, మంచి వీరపుత్రులు మరియు జనసంపదతో కూడిన సమృద్ధిని దయచేయుము.
