वर्मधारणम्। मर्माणि ते वर्मणा छादयामि सोमस्त्वा राजामृतेनानु वस्ताम्। उरोर्वरीयो वरुणस्ते कृणोतु जयन्तं त्वानु देवा मदन्तु

IAST Transliteration

mármāṇi te vármaṇā chādayāmi sómas tvā rā́jā amŕ̥tenā́nu vastām | urór varī́yo váruṇas te kr̥ṇotu jáyantaṃ tvā́nu devā́ madantu

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Thy vital parts I cover with armour: let Soma the King clothe thee round with immortality. Let Varuṇa make for thee a broader, safer space; let the Gods rejoice, attending thee victorious.

Translation

వర్మ-ధారణం. నీ మర్మస్థానాలను వర్మం (కవచం)తో నేను కప్పుతున్నాను; సోమ-రాజు నిన్ను అమృతత్వంతో చుట్టుముట్టి వస్త్రధారణ చేయుగాక. వరుణుడు నీకోసం మరింత విశాలమైన, సురక్షితమైన స్థలాన్ని కల్పించుగాక; దేవతలు నిన్ను అనుసరిస్తూ, నిన్ను జయవంతుడిగా చూసి ఆనందించుగాక.
