हि॒र॒ण्य॒ग॒र्भः सम॑वर्त॒ताग्रे॑ भू॒तस्य॑ जा॒तः पति॒रेक॑ आसीत्। स दा॑धार पृथि॒वीमु॒त द्यां कस्मै दे॒वाय॑ ह॒विषा॑ विधेम

Sanskrit recitationAtharva Veda 4.2.7

hiraṇyagárbhaḥ sám avartatā́gre bhūtásya jātáḥ pátir éka āsīt | sá dā́dhāra pṛthivī́m utá dyā́m kásmai devā́ya havíṣā vidhema ||

Hiraṇyagarbha at first came into being; born as the sole lord of what hath become. He upheld the earth and also the heaven: unto what God shall we with oblation do worship?

హిరణ్యగర్భుడు ఆదిలో ప్రదర్శితుడయ్యాడు; ఏర్పడిన సమస్తానికి జన్మించిన ఏకైక ప్రభువు అతడే. అతడు భూమిని మరియు ద్యౌ (స్వర్గాన్ని) ధారించాడు—ఏ దేవునికి మనం హవిస్ (ఆహుతి)తో పూజ చేయాలి?
