ब्रह्म स्रुचो घृतवतीर्ब्रह्मणा वेदिरुद्धिता । ब्रह्म यज्ञस्य तत्त्वं च ऋत्विजो ये हविष्कृतः । शमिताय स्वाहा

IAST Transliteration

bráhma srúco ghr̥távatīr bráhmaṇā́ védir úddhitā | bráhma yajñásya táttvaṃ ca r̥tvíjo yé haviṣkr̥táḥ | śamitā́ya svā́hā

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Brahman are the ghee-filled ladles; by brahman is the altar set up. Brahman is the sacrifice’s very truth, and the priests who fashion the oblation. To the Śamitar—svāhā!

Translation

నెయ్యితో నిండిన స్రుచులు (ఆహుతి చెంచాలు) బ్రహ్మ; బ్రహ్మచేత వేది (యజ్ఞవేది) స్థాపించబడుతుంది. బ్రహ్మమే యజ్ఞపు తత్త్వం/సత్యం; హవిని సిద్ధం చేసే ఋత్విజులూ బ్రహ్మమే. శమితాకు—స్వాహా!
