Atharva Veda 15.17.6: Kanda 15, Anuvaka 2, Sukta 17, Mantra 6

Sukta 17

तस्य॒ व्रात्य॑स्य । योऽस्य ष॒ष्ठो व्या॒नस्त आ॑र्त॒वाः

tásya vrā́tyasya | yó ’sya ṣaṣṭhó vyānáḥ tá ārtávāḥ

Of that Vrātya: that which in him is the sixth, the Vyāna-breath—those are the seasonal (periodic) portions.

ఆ వ్రాత్యుని యొక్క—అతనిలో ఆరవది అయిన వ్యాన-ప్రాణము; అవే ఆర్తవాలు (ఋతుచక్రపు కాలభాగాలు).
