उ॒भे नभ॑सी उ॒भयां॑श्च लो॒कान् ये यज्व॑नाम॒भिजि॑ताः स्व॒र्गाः । तेषां॒ ज्योति॑ष्मा॒न् मधु॑मा॒न् यो अग्रे॒ तस्मि॑न् पु॒त्रैर्ज॒रसि॒ सं श्र॑येथाम्

IAST Transliteration

ubhé nábhasī ubhayā́ṁś ca lokā́n yé yájvanām abhíjitāḥ svargā́ḥ | téṣāṁ jyótiṣmān mádhumān yó ágre tásmin putráir járasi sáṁ śrayethām ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Both firmaments, and both the worlds—those heavenly realms which sacrificers have won—of these, that which is foremost, luminous, honey-rich: therein, with sons, in lasting age, together may ye find your resting-place.

Translation

రెండు నభస్సులు, రెండు లోకాలు—యజ్వులు జయించిన ఆ స్వర్గధామాలు—వాటిలో అగ్రస్థానంలో ఉన్నది జ్యోతిష్మంతం, మధుమంతం (మధురరసపూరితం); అందులోనే మీరు ఇద్దరూ పుత్రులతో కలిసి, దీర్ఘ జరా (దీర్ఘాయువు) తో, సమేతంగా ఆశ్రయం పొందండి.
